Building a community by presenting creative performances, exhibitions, and communications that engage with individuals seeking to combat issues surrounding loneliness.

tell me about your day

This project comes in the form of a dialogue between two photographers.  Each new image acting as a reply in conversation with the last.  This process promotes an organic re-engagement with visual representation, challenging the ubiquitous reality of image bombardment in contemporary visual culture. This image fatigue leads to a narrowing of aesthetic conventions that harbours a chasm of meaning between the image, the artist and the audience.

Collaboration might bring about new awarenesses through this reflective connectivity, negotiating a poetry of perspectives to provide a platform for creative context to be expanded.

Tell Me About Your Day positions itself as a reminder that the conventions of looking, seeing and reading images are always mediated.
